In today’s world, almost everyone owns a mobile phone — but in our community, phones are still used mainly for calls, music, and chatting. We believe every phone can do much more:
- 🌾 Better Farming Decisions: Training farmers to use phones to check weather forecasts and market prices before harvesting or selling.
- 💰 Safe Mobile Money Use: Teaching families to secure their PINs, avoid scams, and save safely using mobile money services.
- 🛍 Boosting Small Businesses: Showing traders and youth how to advertise products on WhatsApp and SMS to reach more customers.
- 🎓 Learning Beyond the Classroom: Helping students and teachers use YouTube, Google, and offline apps for extra learning.
- 👨👩👧 Stronger Families: Guiding parents and youth on healthy phone use, avoiding harmful content, and setting family rules for screen time.
Through training workshops, awareness campaigns, and market-day help desks, our ICT Club is bringing real change to Aloi and beyond.
